The Trix band was the brainchild of two old friends and former band mates Kenny Dall and Dr. Dave. We were sitting at The Cedarwood having dinner and drinks one night and we had the wild idea"Let's put a band together again". Our friend Billy Bob Gibson (From the ZZ Top Tribute Band LaGrange) was at the table with us and we asked if he would like to be in the band with us and he said yes. Well now we needed a drummer. I was talking on the phone the next day with my buddy Terry Allen from Whiskey Creek (America's #1 Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band) and mentioned what we were up to and Terry volunteered to join us without as much as a blink of an eye. The next day my phone rang and it was Terry. Joe Turnbull (Whiskey Creeks Keyboard / Vocalist) heard what we were doing and wanted to join us. That was a no-brainer.
